Retenu doesn't appear when I tap Share
In the share sheet, scroll the row of apps to the end and tap More. Turn on Retenu, then drag it to the top of the list so it's always at hand.
“Can't read this reel”
The video may be private, deleted or blocked by the platform. Retenu then creates the note from the public caption. You can also save the video to your iPhone and share it from Photos.
Some information in a note is wrong
Tap the field to correct it, or change the note's theme: Retenu redoes it with the right fields. Anything marked “to check” could not be confirmed in the reel.
Change the language of notes
Profile, then Notes language. New notes are written in that language, whatever the language of the reel.
Connect Retenu to Claude or ChatGPT
With the Pro plan or higher: Profile, then Connect to Claude, ChatGPT. Follow the steps shown for your assistant.
Restore a purchase
On the plans screen, tap Restore purchase. Use the same Apple Account you used for the purchase.
Cancel my subscription
In your iPhone's Settings: your name, then Subscriptions, then Retenu. Your subscription stays active until the end of the paid period.
Delete my account
Profile, then Delete my account. Your notes, annotations and themes are erased. Remember to cancel your subscription in Settings: deleting your account doesn't stop it automatically.
